Inspired by the concept shown at EICMA 2024, this exhaust has been designed to blend seamlessly with the lines of the bike.
Constructed from a single piece of high-quality stainless steel and shaped using high-end technology, with the catalytic converter welded inside the silencer.
It is finished with a hand-crafted carbon fibre cover, incorporating the outlet with a honeycomb exhaust protector and a red and white Akrapovič logo.
It features a plug-and-play installation with no remapping required.
During development, the focus was on optimum throttle response and performance, resulting in a power increase of 1.8 kW (2.5 hp) at 9,500 rpm and a torque increase of 1.4 Nm at 5,500 rpm compared to a Suzuki GSX-8S with a standard series exhaust system and tested on the in-house Akrapovič dynamometer.
The weight is reduced by 29.1% (2.2 kg) compared to the standard series exhaust system.
This complete system, which delivers a deep, sporty sound, is EC/ECE approved and complies with the Euro 5+ standard.
It has been designed so that it can also be fitted in combination with the original Suzuki soft luggage set.
