The wiring kit is required for the installation of the direction indicators.
Rizoma indicators are supplied with a pair of resistors (10 W / 15 Ω each).
NOTE: On motorcycles equipped with a warning light on the instrument cluster (BMW R nine T models from 2017 onwards only), in order to avoid the warning light lighting up or incorrect flashing frequency, we recommend installing the resistor kit EE149H (3 W – 38 Ω) connected in parallel to the Rizoma indicators, which completely replace the resistor kit contained in the Rizoma indicators package which, therefore, must not be used.
Attention, since the Rizoma three-function rear indicators (S series) also cover the rear position and stop light functions, they can only be fitted in cases where:
- Rizoma has developed a license plate holder kit including a dedicated wiring kit, so as to allow the elimination of the OEM rear light by virtue of the installation of the multifunction indicators;
- or, if the bike has multifunction indicators as standard, Rizoma has created a dedicated plug&play wiring kit.
Therefore, we always recommend checking the list of products compatible with your motorcycle.
Where the S series indicators are not offered, it means that the dedicated license plate holder is not suitable for removing the OEM rear light or there are no wirings available for replacing the OEM multifunction indicators.
